Common Topics We Can Help With

Our support team handles a wide variety of inquiries. Here are the most common categories and what to include in your message for the fastest resolution:

Calculator Support

If a calculator is producing unexpected results, please include the exact input values you entered (home price, down payment, interest rate, loan term), the output you received, and the output you expected. Screenshots are extremely helpful. Our team will compare your inputs against our formula logic and the standard amortization equation M = P[r(1+r)^n]/[(1+r)^n-1] to diagnose any discrepancies. Note that minor differences of a few dollars between our output and your lender's quote are often attributable to different rounding methods, escrow assumptions, or rate lock timing.

Bug Reports

If you encounter a visual glitch, broken link, or non-functional feature, please tell us which browser and device you are using (e.g., Chrome 122 on Windows 11, Safari on iPhone 15), the specific page URL, and a description of the issue. If possible, include a screenshot or screen recording. Our development team triages bug reports daily.

Content Feedback and Corrections

We take accuracy seriously. If you spot a factual error, outdated statistic, or misleading statement in any article or calculator description, please reference the specific page URL and the passage in question. Our editorial team — led by Marcus Sterling — will investigate and publish a correction if warranted, typically within 48 hours.
